RJ, I have LT5s on my Prelude, but I no longer see them on your website. Are they still available, if so, where can I buy a spare. GO - Cerritos, CA
30 September 2005
GO, the LT5 is one of four styles that we discontinued in the beginning of 2005. The LT5, GTM/GT Drift, Formula 5 and Formula 7 were all styles that had either been around for a few years or were wheels that did not necessarily fit into the vision that I had for RO_JA. We have limited skus available for each of these wheels, and once they are gone, no more will be produced. We’ll be offering the remainder of the inventory through the website, but until then, any RO_JA or American Racing dealer can check specific inventory quantities for you. I do know that there LT5s with a 5x114.3 available that will fit your Prelude. Go see the folks at Super Autobacs in Stanton…I believe they may have a set or two is stock. RJD @ 08:30 Yo RJ, what’s up? Got a question for you. Isn’t the R2-5 the same as the 57f-Pro from Rays Engineering? Also, is there any chance that you’ll be offering any new wheels from Rays? ET - Barrington Hill

ET, yes, the R2-5 is the same wheel as the Gram Lights 57f-Pro. I respect the people at Rays Engineering and Mackin Industries very much, and have always wanted to do something with them. Whenever they are in town from Japan, we all typically go out. During one of these “meetings”, we decided to offer a Rays wheel under the RO_JA name, and since the 57f-Pro was never heavily marketed in the United States, that became the first RO_JA by Rays wheel. We do have a few other designs in the works for more RO_JA by Rays styles, and we’ll hopefully have more information on that in the coming months. RJD @ 08:28 Hey RJ, I remember watching a show on MTV called “Life in the Fast Lane” that followed you and Chris Rado around during car shows, races and a drift event. My question is, where can I get those wheels
30 September 2005
Well MS, the Z you are referring to is a Z that I worked on for Valvoline Synpower that made its debut at SEMA International Auto Salon in Los Angeles. The wheels we had on it were 20” Formula 55s, which was a new one-piece forged style that we were going to offer in 2005. Shortly after IAS, we halted production on the style due to differences we had with the company that was supplying the forging to us. We did manage to get a few dozen sets produced, and I am considering selling the sets as a limited edition through the website. Hopefully we can have them up on the site before the end of the year, and offer them directly to you. Keep checkin’ back! RJD @ 08:25
